Quick view of the training modules
from the Workbook for facilitators
The Workbook for facilitators is one of a series of
resources for supporting parents in conflict.
-
It is designed for use by parent educators running
parenting courses and for those who work with parents.
-
It is provided as resource material for participants
who attend a training workshop on parent conflict or
can be purchased independently.
|
|
The workbook is divided into three modules, supported by
topic related briefing sheets which give background information
based on the key messages derived from research. Each module
combines learning outcomes, information, discussion, group
work using worksheets relevant to the film excerpt, key points
or summaries, ending with a round-up of the session.
 |
You can see the contents page
of the workbook by clicking here. |
The materials can be used in one or all of the following
ways:
- As self-standing modules which can be slotted into existing
parenting groups (either as three x 2-hour sessions including
discussion and a break, or as shorter slots delivered over
a longer period)
- As underpinning knowledge for facilitators and support
workers when talking with parents about relationship difficulties
- As content which can be modified to inform existing sessions
or adapted to the needs of specific groups
