One Plus One staff attended the Parent Know How Programme Showcase. Parent Know How is an initiative from the Department for Children, Schools and Families to improve the provision of information and support for parents. The showcase was an opportunity for the wider parenting community to meet the Parent Know How providers and discuss the services on offer. The event was hosted by George Alagiah and keynote speakers included Ed Balls, Secretary of State for Children Schools and Families and Kevin Brennan, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children, Young People and Families. The event was an opportunity for One Plus One to display details of thecoupleconnection.net to childrens' service commissioners. You can view a brief film about Parent Know How by clicking here.
