One Plus One launched thecoupleconnection.net in 2008 - now, almost two years on, we have published an evaluation of the site. In order to ensure that the website has been performing to its full potential and to test its strengths and weaknesses, we ran a survey on the site from October 2009 to January 2010. You can find out what users thought of the service and how we plan to develop it as a result by reading thecoupleconnection.net - What you said on the website. You can also download the Executive Summary of the evaluation. Key findings included that many respondents felt using the service had had a positive effect on their understanding of relationships:

  • 82% said that they understood more about why relationships work/don’t work.
  • 85% said that they were now aware of how relationships affect parenting.
  • 92% said that using the site had allowed them to see the real reason behind a relationship problem.

Using thecoupleconnection.net had also helped respondents get on better with their partners. Since using the site:

  • 77% reported communicating better with their partner.
  • 82% understood more about their partners’ point of view.
  • 71% reported managing arguments better.
