People’s lives at home and at work can have a profound impact on each other. The purpose of this project is to begin the challenging work of creating a cultural change in the workplace that recognises this. The aim is to investigate the impact of our personal and relationship wellbeing on our work performance and vice versa, enabling and encouraging employers to support employee well-being and strengthen their family relationships.

Key aspects include:

  • developing a business case that demonstrates the benefits to businesses of proactively supporting the emotional well-being of their employees
  • developing and trialing policies and guidance for employers in this sensitive area
  • producing a web-based toolkit and e-learning module for managers and HR professional
